Christmas Open House
The Christmas Open House is typically held on a Thursday evening in early December. This fun, family-friendly event will involve guided tours to share information and stories about our programs, activities for kids, and the chance to interact with the AGR staff. Plus, everyone can enjoy some great refreshments and beautiful decorations!
Sanctity of Human Life Month
January is America’s National Sanctity of Human Life month. AGR would love to provide your church with a complimentary speaker to address your whole congregation during a Sunday service or meet with a Sunday School class or small group. We also offer a promotional video and/or bulletin inserts that can be used as tools to help your church recognize the issue of abortion and learn more about how to get involved in the pro-life movement.
Comedy Night is a fundraising event that provides a chance to laugh away the winter blues for a good cause. From hilarious comedic talent to people getting pied in the face onstage – this event is anything but boring! We’re looking forward to another great event in 2023, so stay tuned for more details. With your support, nearly 500 tickets were purchased and a total of over $51,000 was raised!
Many parents that come to AGR for services say that they are only able to afford one diaper per day for their child. If you know anything about babies, you know that one diaper a day is NOT enough! Parents earn diapers and other material resources by participating in programs at AGR, and last year we distributed just under 138,000 diapers to the community. That was the most diapers we had ever distributed in a single year, but this year we are already on track to distribute 150,000+ diapers! To help meet this need, we are asking the community to participate in the “Diaper Dash” campaign and bring in 50,000 diapers in the month of July. With your support, we know it’s possible!
