Thank you for joining us at our Christmas Open House! As you explore our campus, click on the icons below to learn more about the services offered in each area. There will also be staff members and/or volunteers throughout the tour that can share information with you and answer questions. Enjoy learning more about Alpha Grand Rapids!

Medical Services
Located on the first floor of the Women’s Center. Medical services provided at AGR include STI testing, pregnancy testing, and limited ultrasounds.
Support Services
Support Services include the Step Up Program, which provides one-on-one mentoring for women and coaching for men. This department also encompasses all of our parenting support groups: the Single Moms Support Group, Fatherhood Group, and Grupo de Mamas Latinas. These programs happen throughout the Women’s Center and Men’s Center, but you can start off by learning about the Step Up Program on the first floor of the Women’s Center.
Educational Services
Group classes available through the Educational Services department include Pregnancy Education, Parenting Classes, GED Completion, Jobs for Life, and English as a Second Language. Classes are primarily conducted on the second floor of the Women’s Center, with the exception of Jobs for Life which exclusively happens at the Men’s Center for dads.
Material Resources
By participating in any program at AGR, parents earn Alpha Bucks to shop in our store. Our main store is located on the first floor of the Women’s Center, but there is also a closet at the Men’s Center to make it easy for dads to shop there. Be sure to also check out the inventory room and the garage on the first floor of the Women’s Center, as both of these areas are crucial to the Material Resources department as well!
Men's Center
The Men’s Center facility opened in June 2021 as the first of its kind in the nation! This unique focus on dads sets AGR apart in the pro-life movement and from other community service organizations. When men were surveyed about what types of services they wanted to receive from the Men’s Center before construction even began, many men gave the feedback that they wanted to receive similar services that their girlfriends or wives were receiving from Alpha Women’s Center. With that in mind, the Men’s Center mimics much of the programming that happens on the Women’s Center side but in a manner that appeals to dads.
